  • Hospice & Palliative Care

is one of the oldest hospice providers in the State of Kansas with its approval to provide Medicare hospice services originating in 1991 and supporting counties throughout the Kansas City area and Lawrence. Click here for a list of serviced counties.

  • Medicare

While Medicare mandates the minimum services that hospice patients must receive, at Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care, we are committed to exceeding industry standards. We recognize that each patient’s life experiences and spiritual beliefs have created a unique individual who deserves the finest care and emotional support, while honoring and respecting their needs and wishes.

We accept Medicare payments at the same rate as non-profit hospices do and we lower Medicare’s expenses by caring for patients in their home.

  • Hospice Benefit

Of all the benefits available to our patients we believe the hospice benefit is the most misunderstood of them all. The benefits are incredible, the cost is negligible and yet the participation rate is low. We believe this is because of a fundamental misunderstanding of the program.

Hospice Care

At Kansas Palliative & Hospice Care our mission is to serve others. Patients near the end of their life, family members trying their best to support their loved ones, caregivers and professionals striving to provide the best care possible need assistance and we want to provide that assistance!

Testimonials

We are amazed at the quick response to our need! We had no idea that we could get so much assistance from a caring staff that isn’t driven by financial gains… especially from the old and feeble. Thanks so much for your visit today. You cheered us up!

Unlike many hospices owned by large national for-profit corporations, we are locally owned and operated, making decisions right here in our community. Our team lives and works in the areas we serve, and it shows in our reviews. Families consistently praise our compassionate care, personalized support, and deep commitment to the communities we call home.
